Core Trading Systems Engineer Intern
The role
You’ll build and own the C++ systems that are our market-making operation — the execution stack, market-data handling, risk, and the strategy runtime. When these systems are fast and correct, we trade; when they’re not, we don’t. Senior systems engineers and trader-engineers are your peers: they own the strategies, you own the infrastructure. Successful completion leads to a full-time offer.
What you’ll do
- Build, test, and operate the C++ services that trade live in APAC markets
- Measure and reduce latency across the hot path
- Design and deploy new components of the trading stack (pricing, execution, risk)
- Investigate and fix production issues during live trading — from packet captures to application logs
What we’re looking for
- Currently in the penultimate or final year of a CS/engineering undergraduate or Master’s program
- Strong C++ (C++14 or later), comfortable reading performance-sensitive code
- Comfortable on Linux with Git and shell scripting
- Bonus: exposure to low-latency systems, market data, or trading infrastructure
- Legally eligible to work in the People’s Republic of China
Compensation
- Stipend from 1500 RMB / day
- Meals on working days
- Relocation assistance if applicable
